2008 End of Year Poem
2008 flew by,
Like lightning in the sky.
With a flash and a crash,
The markets were bashed.
December 31 is the end of the year,
To balance your books and make sure they clear.
The first is just another day,
Where the sun will rise and children will play.
So live life to the fullest,
Even if you’re not the coolest.
Work hard, work smart
And contribute your part.
Be grateful for little things,
Even during downswings.
